We will have to figure that out eventually. We weren't exactly on the same page, I wanted to figure it out first, she wanted to have a small commitment THEN figure it out.
can't say that i blame her for that. i mean - it makes sense. why should she uproot her life (or you) unless she's sure that it's going to be worth it. i understand her thinking. but then i'm a woman and know how to think like one...
why don't you go propose at db? you went to high school together and you reconnected at your reunion which was held at the school. i'm sure there's someplace decent in the building that you could propose - you're mom could get you in there. she has keys...
and christmas is a great time for it. you could propose next to that goofy cavalier statue in the lobby...
I think you misunderstood, I wasn't expecting her to move anywhere until we got married.
She didn't want to move anywhere, and I need to get more training in programming before I can move back. I didn't want to ask her until we decided what we would do. She wanted me to ask her -then- decide.
no - i understood it. she doesn't want to make plans without the ring. it's how we ladies avoid disappointment. chances are - she's planning in her head already - she just won't admit it. :-D
when jeff proposed i almost checked his luggage while he was in the bathroom to see if there was a ring in it - but i was afraid if i didn't find oue i'd be disappointed and it would ruin my trip. so i just tried to let myself think i wasn't thinking about it...

The playground that was right there had a week long(?) summer camp thing, called Camp Funny Face.

You could canoe on those "ponds", shoot bows n' arrows, crafts, etc.

I doubt that, there were lots of kids I didn't know.
